Cryptocurrency Market Sees Consolidation with Bitcoin Holding Steady
The cryptocurrency market is in a state of consolidation, with most major cryptocurrencies trading within relatively narrow ranges.
According to exchange market data, Bitcoin is currently trading at $60,785, while Ethereum is holding steady at $1,566. The total market capitalization has rebounded by 0.6% over the past 24 hours to $2.176 trillion.
Some cryptocurrencies are experiencing more significant price movements than others. Zcash, for example, briefly dropped to a recent low after an infinite issuance bug was disclosed but has since recovered by about 48%. The fact that it is bouncing back suggests that investors may be taking the issue in stride and do not see it as a major cause for concern.
Other notable cryptocurrencies are trading at $574 for BNB, $62.4 for SOL, and $57.2 for HYPE. Zcash is planning to launch its Ironwood upgrade at the end of July, which will introduce new privacy pools and enhance supply auditability.
