Bitcoin Bounces Back After Weekend Slump
Bitcoin price surged on Monday morning after a weekend slump, as reports of Iran considering concessions on its nuclear program helped alleviate fears of escalating tensions in the region.
The cryptocurrency's value rebounded to $72,100 from its lowest point of $70,500 on Sunday. This uptick in price was largely attributed to the easing of concerns over Iran's uranium enrichment plans, which had contributed to the weekend's market volatility.
US stocks and crypto-related shares also reversed early losses, with the Nasdaq rising 0.3% after sliding more than 1%. Crypto-related stocks such as Circle (CRCL) and Coinbase (COIN) saw significant gains, with CRCL increasing by 8.3% and COIN by 3.1%.
