TAO Token Surges to Four-Month High Following Nvidia CEO Endorsement
The cryptocurrency market saw a surge in activity as the price of TAO token, also referred to as 'Bitcoin of AI', reached a four-month high. This increase can be attributed to the recent endorsement by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, who described Bittensor's decentralized AI model as a 'modern version of folding@home'. This has led to a significant boost in investor confidence and an increase in trading volume.
The token's price rose nearly 20% in the last 24 hours, reaching a four-month high of $375 before paring gains. Over the past month, TAO has seen more than a 113% gain in value, with some analysts predicting a 200x rally in its value over the next five to ten years.
Early Uber investor Jason Calacanis predicted that Bittensor could become as big as Ethereum or Solana, and potentially surpass Bitcoin's dominance. He stated that TAO has the potential to be the 'better Bitcoin' due to its fixed total supply of 21 million tokens and halving events.
Crypto analyst Michael van de Poppe identified $500 as the next key resistance level for TAO, indicating a possible continuation of its upward trend.
