Farage Faces Inquiry Over $666K Undervalued Jet Donation

Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, is facing scrutiny over his handling of donations from billionaire crypto investor Christopher Harborne. The issue revolves around a private jet loan used for a trip to the Chagos Islands in March this year.

Farage originally declared the donation as £12,500 ($16,500), but later adjusted it to £25,000 ($33,500). Labour Chair Anna Turley claims that the true cost of the flight should have been anywhere between £189,000 ($250,000) and £529,000 ($700,000).

Turley has threatened Farage with a referral to the UK's parliamentary authorities if he fails to provide a full and accurate account. This move comes after Farage lobbied Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey to shelve plans for a state-backed stablecoin dubbed 'Britcoin'.
