Bitcoin Suisse has received permission to operate in Abu Dhabi, marking another step towards its international expansion. BTCS (Middle East) Ltd., a subsidiary of Bitcoin Suisse Group, obtained Financial Services Permission from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of ADGM.
The FSP allows BTCS ME to offer regulated digital asset financial services to institutional and professional clients in the UAE. This is significant for the company as it has over a decade of experience across multiple digital asset market cycles and safeguards USD 3.7 billion in crypto assets.
Institutional and professional clients will have access to a comprehensive suite of services, including managing and hedging digital asset exposure, institutional-grade custody, and trading approved virtual assets. The company's CEO, Ceyda Majcen, said receiving the FSP is 'a major milestone' in their international growth strategy.
The FSRA praised Bitcoin Suisse for expanding into ADGM, citing its commitment to enabling innovation within a robust regulatory environment. Bitcoin Suisse Group's expansion into the Middle East continues with this new authorization.
