Leap Wallet, a project that began in the Terra ecosystem and expanded into Cosmos and other chains, has announced its closure by May 28. This move affects its browser extension, mobile apps, web app, exchange tool, and validator service.

The team behind Leap stated that they plan to sunset their software suite by May 28, citing the project's growth across multiple networks since 2022 as a factor in this decision. They added that despite the closure, they still believe in the long-term future of crypto and the interchain ecosystem.

Users who have stored their assets with Leap can still access them through other wallets using their recovery phrase or private key. The team emphasized that there is no need to withdraw or send assets to a new address, as importing the recovery phrase or private key will restore access to the same address.
