XRP Top-Holder Threshold Drops to 2,155 Coins

The XRP top-holder threshold has fallen to 2,155 coins, allowing more wallets to join the network's top 10 percent by holdings. According to The Crypto Basic, this drop is despite XRP prices moving sideways recently.

At an XRP price of $1.11, a wallet needs about $2,392 to enter the top 10 percent bracket. In comparison, joining the top 5 percent requires around 7,507 XRP, while the top 1 percent threshold is set at 45,002 XRP.

The number of wallets meeting each threshold is relatively small: 395,450 for the top 5 percent, 79,090 for the top 1 percent, and only 7,909 for the top 0.1 percent. The barrier for the very top is even higher, with only 791 wallets holding 3.83 million XRP or more in the top 0.01 percent.

These thresholds are generally lower than they were in February, when the entry line for the top 10 percent was about 2,231 XRP. Market analysts have predicted that if XRP reaches $10, an investor holding 2,155 XRP would see their asset value rise to $21,550.

However, it's difficult to conclude XRP's future price direction based solely on these threshold changes. A lower barrier may draw market attention, but actual price moves are likely to vary depending on overall crypto market sentiment and other factors.
