Crypto Whiz Loses 83.5% But Refuses to Sell Memecoins
Murad Mahmudov's portfolio has taken a significant hit in recent times. His memecoin holdings have plummeted by 83.5% from their peak of $67 million to approximately $11 million, according to Arkham Intelligence.
Despite the massive drop, Mahmudov remains committed to his conviction strategy, which emphasizes holding onto positions through volatility rather than actively trading market swings. He still holds a significant amount of speculative assets, including tokens like GIGA, POPCAT, MOG, and RETARDIO, as well as a relatively small Bitcoin allocation.
The crypto community is divided over the outcome, with some viewing Mahmudov's approach as a testament to unwavering conviction in a market often dominated by short-term speculators. Others see it as proof that even high-profile crypto celebrities can't escape the risks and volatility of memecoins.
