Whales Dominate XRP Exchange Outflows Amid Retail Slump

XRP's largest holders are dominating exchange outflows as retail activity plummets. According to CryptoQuant, whale outflow dominance across all centralized exchanges (CEXs) reached a record 77.8% on July 22.

Compared with May 6, when whales represented 63% of XRP outflows, their share has risen by 14.8 percentage points since then. In contrast, retail participation has fallen by about 14 percentage points.

The same trend is visible on Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, where whale outflow dominance reached 71% on July 22.
