Bitcoin Rebounds 5%, But Remains Below Record High
Despite recent volatility, Bitcoin has rebounded over 5% this week but remains below $70,000. The world's first decentralized digital currency is down approximately 25% year-to-date and sits about 47% below its October 2025 record high.
Ether, the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum blockchain platform, also rose over 9% this week, mirroring Bitcoin's recovery. However, it remains below $2,000 and is now roughly 63% below its record close from August 2025.
XRP, owned by Ripple, has seen limited movement in recent weeks, with some investors attributing the lack of momentum to increased regulation in the space.
