SBI Ripple and DSRV Labs Collaborate on XRP Cross-Border Payments

SBI Ripple Asia has partnered with DSRV Labs, a South Korean blockchain infrastructure provider, to explore the use of XRP in cross-border payments between Japan and South Korea. The joint research initiative aims to study how blockchain technology can enhance remittance and payment flows between the two countries.

The partnership focuses on examining regulatory alignment, operational design, system compatibility, and technical integration requirements in the Japanese and Korean markets. SBI Ripple emphasized that the collaboration is not a deployment of XRP cross-border payments yet, but rather an initiative to explore its potential use cases.
