Bitcoin Price Drops as Iran Rejects US Ceasefire Negotiations
Bitcoin's price took a significant hit over the weekend due to escalating tensions between the United States and Iran. The Iranian government announced that it would not participate in further ceasefire negotiations, citing concerns over US naval operations near its coastline.
The rejection of talks led to a decline in Bitcoin's value, pushing its price below $74,000 on Sunday evening. This marked a reversal from earlier in the weekend when the cryptocurrency had reached a high of $78,300 on Coinbase.
