Bitcoin Market Maturity Prompts Shift in Cathie Wood's Outlook

Cathie Wood's Ark Invest has revised its outlook on Bitcoin's future performance, suggesting that the cryptocurrency's extreme price volatility is decreasing as it becomes increasingly institutionalized.

The firm's predictions are based on the belief that Bitcoin has transitioned beyond its experimental phase and into a more stable financial system. This shift is reflected in the growing involvement of mainstream investors, including those from the corporate world and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

According to Ark Invest, institutional adoption is driving long-term stability and growth for Bitcoin. The firm notes that U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs and publicly listed companies now collectively hold about 12% of Bitcoin's total supply.
