Blockchain Industry Slows Down Amid Decrease in Developer Activity

Blockchain developer activity has been steadily decreasing over the past month, according to data from Santiment. The top-performing blockchains have seen notable drops in developer activity events and contributors.

Ethereum leads the list of top blockchains despite experiencing a 17.79% drop in developer activity events, reaching 50.6K throughout the past thirty days. BNB Chain ranks second with 26.1K developer activity events after a 16.58% slump. Polygon takes third place with 21.1K events and a 16.07% reduction.

Other notable blockchains include Optimism, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Solana, Cosmos, Harmony, and Cardano. These networks have seen significant decreases in developer activity events and contributors. Cardano has fallen to the 10th position with a 15.26% decrease in developer activity.
