Global cryptocurrency markets witnessed notable volatility on Monday, influenced by escalating tensions between Iran and the United Arab Emirates. Amidst this uncertainty, major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum recorded gains.
BTC traded in a wide range, touching an intraday low of $78,217 before reclaiming the critical level later in the day. In contrast, XRP and Dogecoin saw relatively stagnant performance.
Market sentiment shifted from 'Fear' to 'Neutral', as indicated by the Crypto Fear & Greed Index. Furthermore, a significant amount of cryptocurrency liquidations occurred, with $329 million in short positions being wiped out over the past 24 hours.
