Zerion Web App Offline Due to Abnormal Activity, User Funds Remain Safe
Web3 wallet provider Zerion has pulled its web application offline following the detection of unusual activity on its app.zerion.io interface. According to a statement from the company, user funds are not at risk as they remain securely stored in self-custodial wallets.
The incident occurred on April 11, with Zerion's team quickly taking action to address the issue. In a move that demonstrates transparency and speed, the company has chosen not to wait for further investigation before taking proactive measures to protect users.
As part of its response, Zerion is urging users to rely solely on official communication from its account and to avoid interacting with any links claiming to be app.zerion.io until the platform is restored. The team has confirmed that iOS and Android apps, as well as browser extensions, remain unaffected by the incident.
