Solana Prepares for Quantum Defense with Phased Rollout Plan

The Solana Foundation has been proactive in addressing the potential risks associated with quantum computing threats to its network. In recent times, there have been debates within the crypto industry about whether advances in quantum computing could compromise blockchain security.

According to a blog post published by the foundation, two of its core developer teams - Anza and Jump Crypto's Firedancer team - have independently reached the same conclusion on a cryptographic solution. They have identified Falcon as the preferred post-quantum digital signature scheme.
