Zcash's Private Digital Money Potential Goes Unrecognized

Grayscale Research has released a report highlighting the potential of Zcash (ZEC) in the realm of private digital money.

The firm points out that Zcash's unique features, such as shielded transactions and zero-knowledge proofs, set it apart from other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. Unlike Bitcoin, which makes every transaction publicly visible, Zcash conceals sensitive details using advanced cryptography.

Grayscale notes that the use of shielded transactions has grown significantly since the introduction of the Sapling upgrade in 2018, with approximately 86.5% of all Zcash activity now consisting of shielded transactions.
