Ripple Unlocks XRP, Solana Leads Crypto Market Recovery

Ripple has released 1 billion XRP from its escrow accounts as part of its ongoing liquidity management strategy.

The release of the tokens, worth approximately $1.377 billion, occurred in three tranches and is aimed at boosting liquidity and supporting the gradual release of XRP from the wallets.

Despite the significant unlock, the price of XRP remained relatively stable, rising only 0.9% from its opening price on the day of the release.

However, other cryptocurrencies in the market are experiencing volatility, with Solana leading the recovery among major assets with an 11% surge in price to $88.89.
