Cardano's Hoskinson Teases Partnership with Japan Amid Regulatory Optimism
Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano (ADA), has hinted at a new partnership in Japan as part of Cardano's partner chain project, Midnight (NIGHT). The partnership is linked to NIGHT liquidity in Japan and is considered 'really exciting' by Hoskinson. He noted that the deal was finalized but did not disclose further details about the company involved.
Hoskinson also mentioned that there are significant areas of overlap between Stellar and Cardano, adding that he believes his projects will become mature blockchains. In response to concerns about regulation, Hoskinson stated that he is not concerned about regulatory uncertainties for his own projects but acknowledged that challenges exist in the cryptocurrency sector as a whole.
Hoskinson clarified recent comments about Cardano, which were taken out of context and interpreted as 'Cardano is dead.' However, Hoskinson argued that he meant the exact opposite. He described the summer months as a 'building period' for development and stated that fall will showcase new developments.
