Polish President Vetoes Crypto Bill for Third Time Amid EU MiCA Regs
Polish President Karon Nawrocki has vetoed the country's crypto bill for the third time, going against the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). The move comes after the collapse of Poland's largest cryptocurrency exchange. This is not the first time Nawrocki has disagreed with implementing MiCA, which aims to regulate cryptocurrencies across the EU.
The Polish crypto bill was meant to bring the country's regulations in line with the EU's MiCA regulation. However, it seems that President Nawrocki still has concerns about the implementation of these rules.
