Daddy Tate Crashes 26% After Andrew Tate's Arrest
Daddy Tate, the cryptocurrency tied to influencer Andrew Tate, has taken another hit. The digital asset plummeted over 26% in just two days after news broke of Andrew and his brother Tristan's arrest. This is not the first time Daddy Tate has suffered a downturn; it's been on a downtrend for most of its existence, with an all-time low of 95.4%.
The brothers were arrested on July 18 in the US as part of a UK investigation into alleged rape and human trafficking offenses dating back to 2010-2017. The charges against Andrew Tate include seven counts of rape, three counts of arranging or facilitating human trafficking for sexual exploitation, and 19 additional charges related to indecent images of a child.
This is not the first time Daddy Tate has been impacted by external events; it had stabilized above $0.006 following an early 2026 crash but recently surged to over $0.03 in July before falling sharply on news of the arrest. This decline follows reports from earlier this year that Andrew Tate lost money on digital assets, including oil and Bitcoin.
