BTC, ETH Rally as Crypto Markets Surge Ahead of Fed Minutes
Cryptocurrency markets experienced a boost in value on Sunday as investors awaited the release of the Federal Reserve's June meeting minutes. Bitcoin (BTC) saw significant gains, nearly breaking through the $64,000 mark, while Ethereum broke past $1,800 with a substantial 41% increase in trading volume over the last 24 hours.
XRP and Dogecoin also rose in value, as did stock futures, which edged higher overnight. The global cryptocurrency market capitalization increased by 2.39%, reaching $2.13 trillion.
Despite the gains, analysts still note that 'Extreme Fear' sentiment prevails in the market, according to the Crypto Fear & Greed Index.
