Crypto-Backed PAC Endorses Candidates in Key Midterm Elections

A political action committee (PAC) backed by cryptocurrency companies Anchorage and Chainlink has announced its endorsements for the 2026 US midterm elections.

The Blockchain Leadership Fund, a hybrid PAC that can make direct contributions to candidates and independent expenditures, has endorsed ten candidates across the country. The endorsements include four Senate races and six House seats in various states.

According to the FEC filings, Anchorage provided $100,000 in funding for the PAC, while Chainlink contributed $75,000.

The endorsements come as crypto spending is increasing ahead of key races. In Texas, the Fellowship PAC, funded by Cantor Fitzgerald and Anchorage Digital, has reported plans to spend $500,000 to support Republican candidate Ken Paxton for US Senate. President Donald Trump recently endorsed Paxton over incumbent John Cornyn.
