Scottsdale police have charged two teenagers with multiple felonies after they attempted to steal millions of dollars' worth of cryptocurrency from a local resident's home. According to investigators, Jackson Sullivan and Skylar LaPaille, both 17 and 16 years old respectively, traveled from California to Scottsdale to commit the burglary.

The suspects allegedly used a stolen license plate and fake FedEx uniforms to gain entry into the victim's home near 98th Street on Windrose Drive. Once inside, they reportedly assaulted the homeowner, tying him up with duct tape and demanding access to his Bitcoin account.

However, the homeowner denied having any cryptocurrency, leading the suspects to continue their assault. The victim suffered a concussion and a broken rib during the incident. A 3D-printed gun was also found at the scene, although it is unclear whether it was functional.

Sullivan and LaPaille were eventually apprehended by police after they fled the scene in an SUV. They are currently facing nine felony charges, including aggravated assault, kidnapping, and second-degree burglary.
