Poland's Crypto Row Escalates Amid Zondacrypto Donations and Veto Controversy

A long-standing dispute over cryptocurrency regulation in Poland has taken a dramatic turn with Prime Minister Donald Tusk accusing Zondacrypto CEO Przemysław Kral of making large donations linked to a contentious parliamentary vote. According to Tusk, the Internal Security Agency had uncovered evidence of significant financial transactions involving Kral's company.

The donations in question total 450,000 złoty and €70,000 respectively, with the latter going towards a foundation associated with Confederation party lawmaker Przemysław Wipler. Meanwhile, President Karol Nawrocki has vetoed the proposed crypto bill twice, arguing that it imposes overly restrictive measures on the industry.
