Coinbase Predicts Neutral Q2 Crypto Market Outlook Amid Elevated Uncertainty

Crypto markets are bracing for a neutral Q2 outlook according to Coinbase's latest report. The firm's analysis points to elevated uncertainty stemming from ongoing geopolitical tensions, which is causing investors to adopt a cautious approach.

In its second-quarter outlook, Coinbase surveyed 91 global investors, including 29 institutions and 62 non-institutional entities. The survey found that 82% of institutional investors view the market as being in either a bear or late-bear phase, while 70% of non-institutional investors share this sentiment.

Despite the pessimistic outlook, many still see Bitcoin (BTC) as undervalued and a potential value opportunity. In fact, three-quarters of institutions (75%) and about three-fifths of non-institutions (61%) view BTC as undervalued.
