Ripple Nears Full MiCA Compliance with Preliminary CASP License
Ripple has made significant progress in its expansion plans for Europe after receiving preliminary approval under the EU's Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) framework for a Crypto Asset Service Provider license.
The company, which has over 75 regulatory licenses worldwide and processes more than $100 billion in transaction volume across 60 markets globally, is now one step closer to delivering regulated cryptoasset services across all 30 countries of the European Economic Area (EEA).
The authorization was issued as a 'Green Light Letter' on June 23, 2026, and remains subject to final conditions before full approval is granted. This will enable Ripple to scale its regulated cryptoasset services to financial institutions and businesses across the EEA.
