Cryptocurrency analyst Rexha has made a prediction about the current state of the meme coin market, suggesting that the PEPE coin will be the next big thing.

The analysis was based on a comparison between SAFEMOON's performance and the charts of active Solana traders. According to Rexha, this similarity indicates that investors are looking for the next big opportunity, just as they did in 2021 after the Dogecoin and Shiba Inu rallies on the Ethereum blockchain.

The analyst notes that during this time, traders moved to 'cheaper' blockchains in an attempt to chase new runners, leading to a surge in scams. SAFEMOON was one such example, which ultimately turned out to be a scam.

However, as the market became saturated with scams and many traders were used as exit liquidity, attention shifted back to established meme coins like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, which were seen as 'safer' bets. This time around, Rexha expects a similar trend to repeat itself, with PEPE being the leading candidate.
