Meme Coins Fuel Solana and BNB Chain Activity Spikes

Meme coins are back in vogue, driving up activity on blockchain networks. Solana has seen a significant surge in active addresses, increasing by 38% over the past week to reach 31.4 million.

The network processed approximately 685 million transactions with a total trading volume exceeding $13.6 billion during this period.

Binance's BNB Chain also reported impressive gains, with daily trading volume jumping from around $240 million to $350 million, an increase of about 45%.

The recent activity has been largely driven by growing interest in newly launched meme coins, including ANSEM on Solana and TCC and CZ on BNB Chain.
