Vitality Aims to Snap 1,088-Day Trophy Drought at Masters London
The European, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region in VALORANT esports has gone without an international trophy for 1,088 days. Team Vitality aims to end this drought at Masters London from June 6 to 21.
Vitality earned their spot through a 2-1 series victory against FUT Esports on June 8, securing a ticket to the international stage. This marks a significant moment for EMEA teams, which have struggled since their last international titles in 2021 and 2023.
Crypto's growing influence in esports is evident at Masters London, with Coinbase serving as the exclusive crypto exchange and blockchain partner for Riot Games' events. The partnership includes fan engagement activations and giveaways, putting crypto branding directly in front of millions of viewers.
Team Vitality also has a partnership with Polkadot, which involves jersey branding and engagement technology solutions. This deal was formalized through a two-year proposal, giving it a longer runway than typical sponsorship activations.
