Major Token Unlocks Expected to Shake Up Crypto Market This Week

The crypto market is poised to experience a significant influx of new tokens as several high-profile projects prepare to unlock their assets over the next week.

According to data from Tokenomist, more than $650 million in assets are expected to enter circulation between April 28 and May 1. Among these releases, Sui stands out with its largest token unlock, worth approximately $40.39 million.

The majority of SUI tokens will be distributed among Series B investors, the community reserve, early contributors, and Mysten Labs. Meanwhile, Jupiter's unlock on April 28 is expected to release 53.47 million JUP tokens, valued at around $9.77 million. The SIGN token, released by Sign, is also set to enter circulation with a total value of approximately $7.05 million.

Other notable token unlocks include EIGEN, OMNI, and GUN, which are expected to bring significant amounts of new supply into the market. Traders will be closely monitoring these events for potential short-term price fluctuations.
