Binance's ETH Reserve Hits Multi-Year Low Amid Rising Stablecoin Reserves
Binance has seen a significant decline in its Ethereum reserves, dropping below the lows recorded in February and August of last year. According to on-chain data from CryptoQuant, Binance's ETH holdings have fallen to 3.3 million ETH.
Conversely, stablecoin reserves on the platform are increasing steadily. USDT reserves have grown from $35 billion on March 12 to $38 billion by April 2, while USDC reserves have moved from $4.6 billion in February to $6.6 billion in the same period.
Analysts are taking note of this shift in reserve structure, which may indicate reduced immediate sell-side pressure and potentially support price expansion if buyers start using these balances. However, some market participants remain cautious, suggesting that Ethereum could pull back to around $2,050 based on key resistance levels and range-bound behavior.
