BitMine Boosts Ethereum Holdings to Over $5 Billion

BitMine Immersion Technologies has made significant strides in expanding its Ethereum holdings, acquiring 101,745 ETH for a total value of $237.7 million. This purchase brings the company's total portfolio to 5,180,131 ETH, accounting for 4.29% of the Ethereum market supply.

The acquisition marks the third consecutive week that BitMine has purchased over 100,000 ETH, solidifying its position as a major player in the cryptocurrency market. The company's goal is to control 5% of all issued coins, and it currently ranks first among public companies and second among all crypto treasuries in terms of Ethereum volume.

According to estimates, the total value of BitMine's reserves, including cash and stakes in other projects, is approximately $13.1 billion. This includes a significant stake in Strategy with its reserve of 818,334 BTC.
