Arcus Launches Zero-Fee Trading on Robinhood Chain
Arcus, a decentralized exchange, has launched on Robinhood Chain for 24/7 trading. The platform offers tokenized versions of real equities, such as Apple shares, with zero fees. However, users in the US, Canada, and UK are currently locked out due to regulatory concerns.
The exchange is built on Arbitrum technology, a faster and cheaper blockchain that sits on top of Ethereum's security infrastructure. Arcus emphasizes improved speed and liquidity compared to earlier iterations of dYdX's trading platforms.
The 95 Stock Tokens available at launch represent tokenized equities designed to mirror real stock prices while living entirely onchain. Perpetual futures aren't yet available, but the exchange has a waitlist for what it describes as 35 real-world asset derivatives.
