US Stocks Open Lower as Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index Falls
US stock indexes opened lower on April 20, with all three major indices declining. The Nasdaq dropped by 0.21%, the Dow Jones down by 0.03%, and the S&P 500 Index falling by 0.16%. This decline was also seen in the Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index, which fell over 0.5%.
Oil and gas stocks rose, with ExxonMobil increasing by 0.6% and BP up by 0.9%. However, cryptocurrency-related stocks declined, with certain exchanges and Strategy both dropping more than 2%, and Circle down by over 3%.
