Travala, a company specializing in travel booking technology, has introduced an innovative AI-powered protocol that allows for the seamless booking of more than 2.2 million hotels without human intervention.
The protocol, built on the Base blockchain, enables digital agents to search, book, and pay for hotels across major chains, including Marriott, Hilton, and IHG.
According to industry forecasts, agentic commerce is expected to accelerate, with autonomous transactions projected to reach $8 billion in 2026 and scale to $3.5 trillion by 2031.
