Upbit Temporarily Suspends Polygon Network Services Ahead of Scheduled Hard Fork

The South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has taken proactive measures to ensure the security of user funds by announcing a temporary suspension of deposit and withdrawal services for Polygon network assets.

The suspension affects two tokens: POL, which is the upgraded token central to the Polygon 2.0 ecosystem, and GMT, the governance token for the move-to-earn fitness application Stepn.

According to Upbit's announcement, trading for both tokens will continue uninterrupted throughout the maintenance window, allowing users to continue using in-exchange trading features if desired.
