Trust Wallet Unveils Agent Kit to Enable AI-Powered Cryptocurrency Transactions
Trust Wallet, a popular self-custody wallet infrastructure provider, has launched the Agent Kit, a developer tool that allows artificial intelligence (AI) agents to execute real-time cryptocurrency transactions across more than 25 blockchains. The kit is designed to maintain user control over their wallets, ensuring that AI agents can only act on permissions set by users.
The Trust Wallet Agent Kit supports two configurations: one where developers create a dedicated wallet for AI agent activity, with preset permissions set by users, and another where an AI agent connects to an existing Trust Wallet through WalletConnect, proposing transactions for user approval. This approach enables the execution of automated strategies such as dollar-cost averaging, limit orders, and price alerts without requiring constant user intervention.
The Agent Kit integrates with Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard used by developers to connect AI systems to external platforms. The kit is available through a command-line interface, allowing developers to go from account creation to a working AI agent in under 15 minutes. Out-of-the-box features include token swaps, limit orders, automated strategies, ENS resolution, ERC-20 approvals, message signing, portfolio tracking, wallet auto-lock, and a REST API for deeper integrations.
