Binance Former CEO Denies Accusations of Iran-Tied Terror Financing

Binance's former CEO Changpeng 'CZ' Zhao has distanced himself from recent accusations that the company was involved in transactions enabling terrorism financing in Iran.

In a video appearance at the Digital Chamber's DC Blockchain Summit, CZ stated that he had zero interest in such activities. He emphasized that Binance is a global crypto exchange with no benefit to engage in business that could be linked to terrorism financing.

CZ also cited two civil lawsuits recently dismissed in US courts that accused Binance of acting as a conduit for terrorism financing.
