Rideshare Driver Charged with Pandemic Relief Fraud Scheme

A man who works as a rideshare driver has been accused of using pandemic relief funds to support his cryptocurrency investments.

The U.S. authorities claim that Bruce Choi, 34, from Los Angeles, spent around four years deceiving lenders into issuing government funds for non-existent companies.

Critical evidence used in the case includes a forged tax return and a fake bank statement submitted as part of his loan application.
