Record IPO Forecast Fuels Binance's On-Chain Primary Market Expansion
Binance Research projects that U.S. IPO fundraising will surpass $225 billion in 2026, setting a record. This surge in listings is driving demand for on-chain access to private-market exposure through derivatives, listed-equity products, and stablecoin-based settlement infrastructure.
Pre-IPO perpetual futures (Perps) generated $2.5 billion in trading volume within just 18 days of launch. These crypto derivatives provide synthetic exposure to private companies and anticipated public-market valuations without direct share ownership.
The growth of pre-IPO trading products is tied to the broader issuance cycle. Binance notes that larger issuers are driving total fundraising higher across the 2026 IPO market, with Elon Musk's SpaceX raising $75 billion in its June 12 IPO at $135 per share.
