Ethereum Contract Vulnerability Results in $983,000 Loss

A recent incident on the Ethereum network highlights the importance of verifying smart contracts. According to BlockSec Phalcon monitoring, an unverified contract at address 0x143a...81a had a vulnerability in its execute() function due to missing permission control verification.

The attacker exploited unlimited yvWETH authorization from the victim's address 0x9828...5afe, stealing 384.67 yvWETH and subsequently liquidating them for approximately 429.2 ETH.
