Decentraland's MANA Token Faces Uphill Battle to Reach $1

Decentraland's MANA token has been struggling to regain its footing since its peak in late 2021, when it reached $5.90. As of early 2026, the token trades between $0.20 and $0.35, a far cry from its all-time high.

The project's native virtual world continues to develop, with steady growth in daily active users, but it still faces stiff competition from newer metaverse entrants like The Sandbox and Somnium Space.

Several key factors will determine whether MANA can reach $1 by 2030: the pace of mainstream user adoption, tokenomics and supply, regulatory clarity, and technological upgrades.

To achieve a market capitalization increase of several billion dollars, MANA would need a sustained crypto bull market combined with significant growth in metaverse user engagement.
