Cryptocurrency Market Sees Significant Declines Amidst Uncertainty
The cryptocurrency market has experienced a downturn in the past day, with Bitcoin (BTC) reaching a four-week low of $65,500. This decline marks a significant drop from its previous high of $76,000 and comes after a period of sideways trading around $70,000.
Other larger-cap altcoins have also followed suit, with Ethereum (ETH) dipping beneath $2,000, XRP testing the $1.30 resistance, and BNB going down to $610. The total crypto market cap has shed around $60 billion since its peak on Friday, reaching a current value of $2.370 trillion.
In contrast, SIREN, an AI-linked altcoin, has seen a surge in price, increasing by over 100% and surpassing the $1.60 mark as of press time. However, it is still more than 50% down from its recent all-time high of $3.60.
