OKX Halts USDC Deposits and Withdrawals on Solana Amid Wallet Maintenance

OKX, a major cryptocurrency exchange, has temporarily suspended deposit and withdrawal services for $USDC on the Solana blockchain due to scheduled wallet maintenance. The pause is expected to last for 24 hours, from July 14 at 14:30 (UTC+8) until completion of the maintenance.

According to OKX's notice, users are advised not to perform any USDC deposits or withdrawals during this period to avoid potential fund losses. Trading services will continue to operate normally as related token transactions are unaffected.

The notice also mentioned that $USDC on Solana is native to the blockchain and can be swapped across chains. Circle has recently issued an additional 250 million $USDC on the Solana network.
