Binance Enters Traditional Finance Market with US Equities Trading

Binance has expanded its services beyond cryptocurrency trading by launching US equities trading for eligible users.

The exchange now offers over 7,000 stocks and ETFs with zero commission, enabling users to buy fractional shares from $5. The service is available on a 24/5 basis, allowing users to access select equities outside of traditional market hours.

Binance aims to become a multi-asset platform by introducing tokenized stocks, which will represent US stocks and ETFs as digital tokens. This move puts Binance in direct competition with other platforms like Coinbase that offer commission-free trading for US stocks and ETFs.
