Crypto Market Update: SHIB Down, SOL and HYPE Show Resilience

Shiba Inu's (SHIB) long-term downtrend continues as it trades close to $0.0000041, a price level near its yearly low. The asset has been struggling under intense bearish pressure since failing to recover from multiple attempts in July. Its chart shows a distinct pattern of lower highs and lower lows, indicating a strong downward trend.

SHIB's break from a rising channel that supported prices between March and May is also noteworthy. After losing the structure's lower boundary, SHIB fell sharply and hasn't recovered any significant moving averages since. The 50-day EMA remains above $0.0000045, while the 100-day and 200-day averages are significantly higher, supporting the bearish market structure.

On the other hand, Solana (SOL) offers a relatively better technical picture than many major altcoins despite its recent decline. SOL surged above $80 after making a significant comeback from June lows around $60 and is still trading above both its 50-day and 100-day moving averages at about $76.

Hyperliquid (HYPE), another strong large-cap asset, remains in a consolidation phase rather than a full trend reversal. It recently lost its 50-day and 100-day moving averages, which are now concentrated around the $64, $65 range, but is still trading comfortably above the rising 200-day EMA at $57.

XRP, however, remains stuck in a tightening technical structure with a distinct descending resistance line on the chart compressing price action against rising support. The overall trend is still in favor of bears, and any attempt at a breakout will have to overcome this dense resistance cluster.
