Grayscale to Offer Cash Payouts from ETH and SOL Staking Rewards
Grayscale has taken another step towards making its Ethereum and Solana staking products more accessible to traditional investors. The company plans to introduce regular cash payouts from staking rewards, starting on August 7.
The move aims to provide a way for investors who operate through broker-custodied products to participate in staking returns without having to hold crypto assets directly or manage staking operations themselves.
Grayscale had launched staking for its ETH and SOL products on October 6, 2025, becoming the first U.S. crypto fund issuer to incorporate staking into spot ETPs. The company's Ethereum Staking ETF (ETHE) has $1.220 billion in net assets, while the Solana Staking ETF (GSOL) has $101.13 million under management.
The gross staking rewards for the Ethereum fund stand at 2.67%, while those for the Solana fund reach 6.10%. Grayscale clarified that amounts cannot be predicted in advance, as they will depend on the rewards accumulated during each period and the expenses deducted by the trusts.
