Coinbase and Apex Launch Tokenized Bitcoin Yield Fund on Base Network

Coinbase Asset Management has partnered with Apex Group to introduce a tokenized Bitcoin Yield Fund on the Base network. This innovative project seeks to appeal to institutional investors by merging traditional financial compliance systems with the advantages of blockchain technology.

The ERC-3643 token standard is used in the development of this fund, allowing for direct integration of compliance rules into tokens. This enables verified identity and eligibility checks for investors before they can subscribe, hold, or transfer tokens representing shares in the fund.

Apollo Group provides transfer agency services and ensures compatibility with net asset value accounting systems.
